Western Australia is a great place to experience the quieter side of Australia. You can wander off the beaten path a lot in this region. The Mitchell Plateau or Purnululu National Park can be explored by 4 wheel drive vehicle on some holidays, so you can learn about aboriginal culture. Many of the exploration holidays include views of waterfalls and gorges along the way, as well as a variety of Australian wildlife. A budding explorer will love the Australian outback.
